Dear Diary...
The online diary of The Mistress
I will be using this space to give you an update as to what's going on in my life on a monthly basis.  If you'd like to
contact me,  my e-mail address is
mistressbelmont@yahoo.com.  I can't promise a response, in that I am a very
busy person, but I will do my best and try.
October 10, 2008

Belmont has been a bit busy wrestling as of late.  Unfortunately, due to an insane work and gym
schedule I haven't been able to update my site here as much as I'd like to, and for that I am sorry.
I was told by my own mother that my last several matches hadn't been listed on my "Schedule"
page.  I'm going to make a serious attempt to remedy that.

I've been asked to compete in Front Row Wrestling's "Ultimate Endurance" women's tournament.  I
feel honored to be a part of a rather innovative idea (at least for this area) that gives chick
wrestlers like me the chance to really show our stuff.  It's slated to take place on January 10 in
Rochester, New Hampshire.  There will be two shows, one at 3 pm and one at 8 pm.  Check back
for more information.

Mr. Sigint turned one year old on October 1st.  He's grown into such a big, sweet boy.

Kick ass, take names, then take a nap.  Keep it freaky.
November 1, 2008

It has been an eventful month for Belmont.  Things seem to be picking up, which is good, and the
month of November should be no exception.  I have several dates lined up (check my schedule
page), and I encourage my fans to come out and show your support.

With the economy the way it is, I've become concerned about many things in life - I work for a
financial institution, and with several others closing I'm worried that my job could be next.  With
many people out of work it also brings up the fact that when you have to tighten the financial belt,
extras are the first to go.  Extras like going to a wrestling show on a Friday night.

I know this is weighing a lot on people's minds, so I encourage you to go out on Tuesday and
vote.  I've written in the past about how I get upset by people voting for the sake of voting without
educating themselves on where the candidates stand.  However, at this point I feel that something
really needs to change with the leadership of this country.  I want to keep my job, be able to
wrestle, and not pay $4 a gallon for gas.  You should have the same hopes and expectations.
(Maybe not the wrestling part, but I'm sure you have something you do for fun that you really
don't want to give up due to lack of funds.)

Please make every effort to get out and vote.  I hate the whole concept of "your vote counts", but
the more people that vote for change, the better.

Vote, eat a cupcake, and keep it freaky.

The Mistress has had to deal with the death of another person close to her.  The man that
allowed me to pursue my dream, Steve Bradley, died about a week ago.

I met Steve almost four years ago.  We hit it off right away - he was easy and fun to talk to, and
his training was awesome.  He was a tough teacher that rarely doled out compliments - he felt
that constantly patting someone on the back didn't force someone to grow and improve - yet
when he did it would make you feel like a million bucks.

Steve and I talked about my "character" and what I could do that would set me apart.  When I
debuted for WFA he named me "The Slave Girl", and as time went on we subtly tweaked the
character to what I am now.  All that I have as Mistress Belmont came from the imagination of
Steve.  He helped me improve and was a tough task-master, but it made me a better wrestler.

I will miss our hours long conversations at odd hours, his sense of humor, and his care and
concern over my love life.  He was an amazing man, and I'm a better person for knowing him.
January 25, 2009

Happy new year to all of Belmont's fans.  The Blue-Haired one's year was off to a great start,
but there are times that I feel that it won't last.  Like all things good, it must come to an end.

Here are some of the highlights from last year:
*  I adopted two beautiful kittens, Sigint and Samus.  Due to circumstances I've gone almost
ten years without a cat, so to be able to adopt two has brightened up my life tenfold.
*  I began to branch out in the world of professional wrestling.  I dipped my foot in such
reputable companies as WSU in New Jersey, as well as FRW and Ringside
Entertainment.  I've had great success with these promotions.
*  I picked up The Manager of Champions.  Sean Gorman has proved to be most useful in
many of the above-mentioned promotions.  I feel that he is an asset to The Mistress
and has been well worth the investment.

Unfortunately with the highs comes the lows, and they were rather tough to swallow.  Here's a
couple of the downers:
*  My longest relationship ended.  It had been coming for a while, but the finality was very
tough to take.  My better half will be missed, although we remain very close.  He's one
of the first that I call in times of need and probably always will be.
*  Two people very close to me passed away.  The man who gave Belmont all she has in
the world of wrestling died on December 1st.  Steve Bradley was my hero, idol, and
above all, my friend, and he will never be forgotten.  Gary Widger got as close to me
as anyone can, but unfortunately his demons got the best of him when he took his
own life on his birthday, June 21st.  I will miss both of these men indefinitely.

I look forward to this year and hope it brings more opportunities for you to see The Freak in
action.  Take care and keep it freaky.
June 25, 2009

It's been a while since my last journal entry - about six months.  My life has been pretty much
normal as of then, and thankfully my wrestling has been picking up.   I've been privileged to
work for some new and different promotions, most notably NWA On Fire, which has been
touring all over Belmont's home state of Maine.

I encourage you in these tough economic times to spend your money on some good
old-fashioned entertainment - a live wrestling show.  Not a show like the WWE because tickets
are so ridiculously expensive, but local shows because not only are you supporting a local
business, you have the chance to see the stars of tomorrow.  Local talent generally work
harder than most of the guys you see on tv because they have to in order to set themselves
apart, and they generally give 110% to entertain you.

I'm also partial to this because it's what I do for fun.  But on the flip side, most shows I have to
drive at least an hour to, if not several.  I put way more into it than what I get out of it, and I train
hard to better myself to entertain you.  I take kicking ass very seriously!

We all have to make sacrifices somewhere if money's tight, but don't give up your monthly live
wrestling fix.  It's cheap, fun, and entertaining.   So until next time, go see me wrestle live, eat a
cupcake, and keep it freaky.
October 1, 2009

It's been a busy several months for your not-so-humble Mistress and it's showing no sign of
slowing down.  For those who continue to support me and check this website, keep checking
back because it looks like 2010 is shaping up to be the year of Belmont.

I have some very good opportunities coming up.  NECW has signed a television deal, and if
you look in the schedule section I have two upcoming dates that are slated to be television
tapings.  I'm on track to wrestle in Canada in the beginning of the year, so all my fans up north
will have the opportunity to see me in action.

I have joined forces with Jeff "Bruizer" Costa.  Jeff had great success over the last 30 years as
a professional wrestler, and after the loss of my trainer Steve Bradley, I was at loss as to
where to go to get the best training.  I happened to meet Mr. Costa in March of this year and
have gleaned much knowledge from his teachings.  I look forward to continuing this training.

Outside the ring I'm excited to be going skydiving.  My first date was cancelled due to the
weather, but I'm really looking forward to the make-up date.  Also, this coming Saturday I'll be
going to see my favorite band, Skillet, in Worchester.

Until next time, hug a kitten, request my friendship on myspace, and keep it freaky.
March 13, 2010

So far 2010 has taken off to a fantastic start for the Blue-Haired One.  I've already traveled to
Vancouver and Montreal for wrestling, which was a fantastic experience.  Belmont had never
flown before Vancouver, so it opened a whole new world for me, not to mention a whole world
of frustration - three hours spent in security in Toronto was insane!  They even went through
my check\book.

So far the highlight of 2010 has been wrestling in the second ever NCW Femmes Fatales
show in Montreal.  I got to wrestle the wonderful Cherry Bomb, and although I speak no
French I was made to feel very welcome by the entire group.  I also got to meet LuFisto, who I
happen to be a fan of, and on the way home I got to try poutine (fries with gravy and cheese
curds) at a little 24-hour diner in the middle of nowhere.

I did my very first radio interview.  I'm going to attempt to post a link to it on the site here.

Good luck, Godspeed, and keep it freaky.
